Pool Chemistry is an owner operated pool service in Greater Sarasota, Florida. This page explains what we collect when you use this site or ask for a quote, what we do with it, and the choices you have. In short: we use your details to quote and look after your pool, and nothing else. We never sell them.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, city or ZIP, and, if you choose to add them, your phone number and notes about your pool.
With each request we also record the date and time, your IP address, the page you sent it from and your browser type. We keep that as a record that you agreed to our Terms and to be contacted about your quote.
This site does not use cookies, advertising pixels or tracking scripts. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to run and protect the site.
How we use it
We use your information to prepare your quote, email you about it (or call, if you left a number), schedule and provide service, and keep normal business records. We do not use it for anything else, we do not send marketing emails, and we do not text.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the companies that run this site and deliver your request to us: Vercel, which hosts the website, and Resend, which emails your quote request to our inbox. They handle it only to provide those services. We never sell, rent or share your email address or phone number for anyone else's marketing. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to quote, serve and invoice you and to keep the records a small business is expected to keep. After that we delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Send the request through the quote form on this site (write “Privacy request” in the notes) or reply to any email from us. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time the same way.
Children
This site is for adults arranging pool service. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and quote requests go straight to the owner. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see yours to the people who need it to do the work.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about your information can be sent through the quote form on this site.
